Gasp! It’s The Black Wii Boxart!

July 14, 2009 by Troy

Black Wii

Black Wii

Holla! It’s the uber-sexy black Wii! Sure, we’ve caught the black Wii in the wild, but we’ve yet to see the boxart. And, as you can see from above, it’s just as drool-worthy. It makes me wonder why Nintendo didn’t come out with the black Wii in the first place? It makes it look more like a next-gen console, rather than some lame kiddy toy.

Is there a trade-in list? I’d love to swap mine out!

Video: LG Chocolate BL40 Looks Mighty Impressive

July 13, 2009 by Troy

Now doesn’t this look interesting — and quite impressive, might I add? It’s the new touchscreen LG Chocolate BL40. Ok, maybe. While the video is not proven to be an actual ad for the Chocolate, the video is extremely well made. And furthermore, why would someone go out of their way to create such a legit-looking video of the Chocolate? Hell, you’d think they’d put some effort into making a really cool iPhone apps, or something.

Regardless of it’s authenticity, note the features of the BL40: 4-inch (diagonal, yum!) touch screen, tempered scratch-proof glass, active Flash UI, 7.2Mbps HSDPA, WiFi, multi-touch capabilities, A-GPS, camera — and, drum roll please — it’s “coming soon” in 2009. If the video is indeed real (and lets hope it is), I’m simply amazed at what LG’s able to fit into a thin phone.

MacBook Pro Users: Why Is My MacBook Making Clicking/Beeping Noises?

July 12, 2009 by Troy

Click, Click, Click... Beep Beep

Click, Click, Click... Beep Beep

I may be a little biased, possibly due to my love/hate relationship with Apple, but making the switch from Microsoft to Apple just doesn’t seem right — yet. Lately, an irate number of MacBook Pro users have been diligently complaining on the Apple Forums that their Macbook Pro is making clicking or beeping noises. This is just one more issue facing the expensive line of Apple laptops. Read more

Lauren Conrad’s Book, L.A. Candy, Gets Best-Seller Status

July 11, 2009 by Troy

Lauren Conrad signs her new book 'L.A. Candy'Although Lauren Conrad has left The Hills for bigger and better things, she’s still in the spotlight but this time it has nothing to do with Heidi. Well, sort of. Her debut novel, entitled “L.A. Candy,” has officially hit the New York Times “Best-Seller List.” In addition, it’s ranked #44 on Amazon.com’s Best-Seller list. This is the first book in a series of three to be released by the blonde socialite.

Reviews from customers on Amazon’s website reveals that her first go at writing isn’t all that bad. In fact, it’s for the most part given a 5 out of 5 from most customers. Whether it’s actually her writing is another story. After all, The Hills was staged.

How To Build A Fighter Jet In 3.5 Minutes

July 11, 2009 by Troy

Whenever we see military fighter jets, we almost never think of its initial creation. The time when hundreds of people work diligently to built one of the most technologically advanced machines of all time. And, if you think of it right now (as in before you watch the video), you’re probably thinking its all built in one spot. That’s not the case. There’s many different areas for building each piece, as seen in this time-lapse video of constructing a Super Hornet fighter jet. The video is really cool. Go pop in a couple of Hot Pockets — they’ll be done just as the video ends.
