More Palm Pre Information Released

I know this isn’t one of those “OMFGZORZ!!!one!!oneone!!!” moments, but anything involving the Palm Pre gets me excited. In a video about the Pre, MobileDivide takes us through the normal features the Pre has, but it also lets us know how exactly we’ll unlock the phone and another feature.

The first thing you’ll see is that the Pre will be unlocked similarly to the way the iPhone unlocks. But, instead of sliding a block on a straight line, you basically grab a little ball and move it outside a circle. I know, not the most technological advance in years, but still.

The second is that when you have the 3-megapixel camera up, you can use the space bar as the camera’s shutter. This will be a great feature because there have been many times where I had to take a picture on my iPhone at the right second, only for it to fail because I didn’t tap the screen correctly. Grr. I’m sure many of us will enjoy this.
