Palm Pre Just Around The Corner?

The internet keeps asking, “Is the Palm Pre coming out soon?” We’ve heard that it will be released in the first quarter of 2009, but we have no clue if it will be earlier in the quarter or at the very end. Some have heard it will come in June, but then there are others who speculate it may be sooner than that.

CrunchGear says that around the same time next month, Palm will be doing a press-only webcast. It’s supposed to show us three distinct features of what the new Palm Pre is capable of. If it’s only to show them three things, I don’t understand why the general public is excluded from the event. Why not open it up to the public, after all, we live in a digital age.

If Soulja Boy can show us he’s likes playing Braid high, I think Palm can show us what these three distinct features are without us having to wait for the press.

Wow, I can’t believe I was able to throw in Soulja Boy’s name in while talking about the Palm Pre. Go me.
