Rumor: Palm Pre Launch Date and Pricing

I sure as hell hope this rumor is true. The boys over at CrunchGear found the CEO of Logicomm’s Twitter account (now protected) which details Palm Pre’s launch date as well as pricing information. In the tweets he says:

@heeeyrold @dberube We do a lot of betas 4 Sprint. Also testing WiMax fones. Not sure if Pre is final. Release dte of 4/30, so I’m told..

@darthpooh79 Sprint claims that 4/30 is a line in the sand, according to my acct mgr there…he’s usually right on #Palm Pre

As much as I hope this news is true, no one can confirm until we hear it straight from the horses mouth. Some other interesting news coming out of Logicomms tweets were the Palm Pre’s pricing information. According to Logicomm, you’ll be able to purchase the Palm Pre for $299.00.
