Sony Ericsson Racheal UI ScreenshotToday, it’s less about the hardware and more about the software. Which brings me to the subject of this post: Sony Ericsson unveiled it’s new Rachael user interface (UI) today. They say it was a leak, but I just don’t believe it. I will say, however, with the number of Android phones coming out, I’ve  yet to see a really compelling use of the operating system. But today, that changes.

Sony Ericsson has been keeping this phone under wraps and it was just recently revealed via a leak from internal documents. And even though the company’s lips have been sealed, we do know that it will sport a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, an 8-megapixel camera, will be completely touchscreen and, of course,  uses the Android operating system. But that’s not where Rachel shines.

What’s got me drooling is the portion which shows the messaging interface that incorporates all the messages with  beautiful eyecandy. Head past the break for the full video.
