The Real Housewives of New York May Not Return For Season 3

Haven’t had your fill of The Real Housewives of New York? Well, Season 2 may have been your last. At least with the previous cast that is. A source has told the NY Daily News that “The Housewives all want six-figure deals.” He goes on to say:
“They barely made 10 grand for the first season, and now are all a bit too big for their britches. They want the whole shebang: a clothing allowance, money for hair and makeup, a set raise and a promised amount of screen time.”
I really hope this isn’t true as I really enjoy the Housewives of New York. As it stands right now, the only housewife that’s signed is Kelly Bensimon –and everyone knows I hate Kelly. It would be very unfortunate if all the girls got a little too big for their britches. I know the show was a hit but this is only Season 3. I could understand a six-figure income after, say, 5 or more seasons. And I’m positive they aren’t getting a measly $10,000 anymore.
The source who originally gave the info also said that The Real Houswives of Orange County are a perfect example why this shouldn’t be happening. The source is quoted saying “They should watch out! The OC Housewives were a perfect example of how each woman can be replaced.” Ouch. I guess this leads further credibility to the fact that Jeana isn’t returning to OC.
