Developer Vigil Games Walks Us Through The ‘Darksiders’ Story

Daniel Izac of Vigil Games has recently sat down with IGN to walk us through the story line of the new Xbox 360 title, Darksiders. The game takes place after the biblical Apocalypse has occurred. You are War, the first of four horsemen of the Apocalypse, who has been summoned down to Earth. After showing up, you find out there is a conspiracy surrounding you and everyone thinks that you’re the reason for the premature Armageddon. You also find out the other three horsemen are nowhere to be seen.

The actual gameplay starts 100-years after Heaven and Hell descended upon earth. You were sent back at your request after being put in front of the Chard Council in that you know you’re not the reason for the premature Armageddon. Meh, I’ll just let the developer walk you through. No sense in me wasting my time when there’s tons of footage and developer commentary to keep you glued to your screen. Just know this: Darksiders is coming to an Xbox 360 near you this year.
