Kandi Burruss’ ex-Fiance ‘A.J.’ Beaten To Death

Today is a very sad day for the viewers of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. If you’ve been following the show, Atlanta’s newest housewife is Kandi Burruss — a kind and lovable singer/songwriter. During the course of the show, we’ve seen a lot of her and her ex-fiance, Ashley “A.J.” Jewell. He was always around supporting Kandi in everything she did and also took the time to connect with her daughter.

But today marks a very sad, sad day. A.J. was beaten to death by a group of men outside a strip club early this morning. Sandra Rose’s website is reporting that:

Friends say Ashley “A.J.” Jewell, a former drug dealer, was beaten and stomped by a group of men in the parking lot of famed strip club The Body Tap early Saturday morning. He was transported by ambulance to Piedmont hospital where he died from blunt force injuries to the brain.

The website went on to claim that he was in negotiations to purchase the nightclub the night he was murdered. It’s very tragic as anyone who watched The Real Housewives of Atlanta knows that A.J. himself had six children. The other housewives are confirming the reports with Kim Zolciak posting the following tweet on her Twitter page:

please Pray for my dear friend Kandi and her loss.I adored AJ and he will be misssed dearly.

Unfortunately no arrests have been made in the connection with the murder but police are investigating and questioning those who were at the club this morning.
