The Real Housewives of Orange County
So here we are. It’s Thursday and the season premier of The Real Housewives of Orange County has just aired. Season 5, can you believe it?! In short, here’s what happened:
The loud mouth Vicki Gunvalson went skydiving. Oh, and her and her husband look like they’re doing better. Vicki apologized for throwing him under the bus last season (remember, she told the world that her “love tank” was empty when it came to him). Anyway, they’re doing a lot better — so it seems. Vicki is putting forth more effort to be a better wife and it looks like he is, too.
Jeana Keough is selling her home because her income was reduced by two-thirds. Apparently she was making such good money in real estate that she never had to think twice before purchasing anything. Now, she’s got to save her entire paycheck otherwise she won’t have any. It’s actually so bad that her 17-year old son has to give her advice. Ouch. Vicki said that Jeana called her a couple months ago asking her for money and Vicki said “no.” They haven’t talked since then.
The hottest housewife,Tamara Barney, and her husband’s relationship is on the rocks. She even said she doesn’t know where it’s going. They were throwing a party for her daughters acting class and the tension was so thick you could cut it with a knife. Tamara is still best friends with Vicki and they still love to gossip. Like Jeana, Tamara and her husband are facing financial trouble which is definitely straining their relationship.
Gretchen Rossi and Slade are dating. Vicki says Slade’s “whoring her out.” Tamara still doesn’t like Gretchen and opened her mouth saying she still believes Gretchen had a relationship while Jeff, her deceased fiance, was dieing. You can tell Gretchen still loves him and misses him (she even cries talking about him). Even though some don’t believe her, I do. Gretchen talked briefly about the horrible pictures that were posted on the internet and admitted she was previously hanging out with the wrong crowd. Hopefully she’s learned her lesson.
Lynne Curtain is super busy running her boutique selling her collection of cuffs and other jewelery. She mentions her husband’s business is tanking, but we knew that due of the reports that their relationship was suffering and they might be getting a divorce. Lynn is now really good friends with Tamara, which seems a bit odd for me. Is it me or don’t I remember Tamara calling her dumb and stupid last season?
Alright, now that we’ve caught up with all the housewives of Orange County, it’s time to let the drama begin. It started at Lynne’s party where she was showing off her cuffs and other jewelery. Going in, Gretchen and Tamara didn’t sound like they would be civil. Both were saying how much they didn’t want to see the other. The party was going good until the girls sat down to eat. The party was supposed to be about Lynne’s cuffs but no one could get past the tension between Tamara and Gretchen. So, they decided to talk about it. To put it simply: they kept blaming each other for their inability to be friends.
We didn’t get to see the newest housewife, Alexis Bellin, which to me was a dissapointment. But, who cares, it’s back!
Besides that, there’s also the newest housewife of Orange County, . She’s as beautiful as any of the other ladies [and loaded of course.

Well Tamara is still the biggest bitch in the OC! She seriously needs professional help. In her effort to dog Gretchen she just makes herself look like a jealous, insecure, and hateful person. She is in her late 40’s…you would think she would act more mature and have more class. No wonder her marriage is on the rocks. She’s too busy destroying other peoples lives. Karma…it’s a bitch too!
Tamara needs to go AWAY!!! Short Sale on your house…unemployed husband…seriously you need to get a reality check and realize…. KHARMA IS A BITCH just like you!!!! Gretchen needs to kick her ass…Tamara can’t stand that Gretchen is absolutely gorgeous and Tamara…well she is a has been. Vicki is a snot and has no idea how to be a REAL friend…ummmmm Jeana! Gretchen, Lynn and Jeana are the only real true wives..the others try to live the life…but come so short of reality.
Tamara needs to take a step back and focus on herself.. she is trying to focus the attention away from her to Gretchen because if she says enough people will just focus on what is being said instead of what is really going on…. in one episode her monotone husband gives her a rolex because she deserves it.. well so does everyone dumbass but people who clearly can’t afford it don’t get them… and still have their house and people who have class try to sort out their lives in private… and broadcast their misfortunes on television. What is it that you can’t take Gretchen pretty hair,young body, or carefree life… not a fan of Gretchen but you jealousy is so clear…. Please pawn one of your silly gifts from that stonefaced hubby and get yourself to a good hairdresser.your hair is horrible…….
The season premier was good… but im worried they’re getting rid of Jeana. jeana is the most calming person out of all of them… even if she can’t hold herself responsible with her finances. I hope she’s able to continue staying on the show. I hope tamaras able to get over Gretchen. Gretchens such a great person and could be a really dear friend… if she just lets her. Learn to live and love girls and you’ll be alright!!!!

So Bud, did you know Lynne really wasn’t living in Laguna Beach like the show depicted? She and her husband were actually renting a house and they weren’t paying rent! They got evicted!!! Call me, I have connections.
seriously..tamara is so jealous of gretchen..its so obvious!!you need to get a divorce..your husband hates you..you are way to bored so a job is agood idea these days eh??
thank you so much for people posting on how much Tamara needs a reality check. i am so disgusted by her. she used to be my favorite housewife. now. she is just annoying and way jealous. maybe if she would focus on herself and her life she would not be having the troubles she is having. it really shows how a person can be so toxic and cancerous in their own life. i mean obviously Tamara is in such a dark place her life is falling apart and all she wants to do is project it all on Gretchen.
OMG. Tamara is so jealous because Gretchen looks better than her. It’s so obvious. If I were her husband I would be so embarrassed of her. Maybe that is why he is telling her to be classy. She should take her hubby’s advice!
I have a comment for Tamara,
Get over yourself for God sake. You have a wonderful husband,and a beautiful family. You really chopped him up on the last episode, when you were at dinner with the other couple. He is the bread winner, and remember without you both working as a team you all wouldn’t have been as successful as you are. Don’t let a reality show ruin everything you all have worked for. Also stopped being so hateful towards Gretchen. Gretchen is a single woman and her lifestyle is none of your business. You have developed a dislike towards her from day one.
OK now i have to comment on the new housewife Alexis….She says she and her ummm husband first and foremost God comes first… Is their God… Money. She is a 2009 version of a stepford wife…. they preach the importance of God in their lives… well just maybe a 2 carat diamond ring would have sufficed… and then being the Godly people they are could have donated the money they would have spent on the other 16 carats to oh i don’t know feed a third world country….. ever hear of blood diamonds……. and isn’t Greed and Vanity two of 7 deadly sins…… Take it from the other housewives you never know what’s around the corner…..
Season 5 is hot, hot. I don’t miss Jeana at all. I was disgusted with her last season when she let the big fat guy live in Vicki’s house and let Slade store stuff in her garage. Sorry, but Jeana was white trash with money. And yes,tamra is jealous of gretchen. Tamra is 40 & Gretchen is 30ish. Gretchen is free to go out, drink and have hot sex with anyone she wants. Tamra has to stay home, clean her own house and take care of the kids while getting saggy & wrinkled, so we can understand where she’s coming from when she hates on gretchen. Tamra is still the best housewife in my book, regardless. Vicki is just a bitch, but i luv her too and she has the best kids and a nice husband. I’m glad Slade is back and with gretchen. they make a cute couple and are perfect for each other. I’m glad Jo is long gone. Love the newest hw too. This should be very interesting!
Sure didn’t take Alexis long to show the whole world what a hypocritical kind of “christian” she and her husband are. I laugh every time I hear her spewing her lies about how Godly they are.
And I will have a very hard time having any sympathy for Lynn when she finally opens her eyes and finds out what a lousy mother she is. That much denial about your kids, and arrogance about your parenting, always comes back to bite you in the ass. Just hope the kids get straightened out somehow (those two girls are such spoiled, worthless, lying, two faced drama queens) before they are nothing more than trash, like Tamara and her son Ryan.
But, anyone else notice how lame, lazy, shifless, and full of themselves all these kids are? Do any of them have any aspirations to some day support themselves, or do anything with their lives besides leach off other people?
