The Real Housewives of Orange County
Wow. This season of The Real Housewives of Orange County was crazy. Bravo really brought the drama, if I do say so myself. But it’s the season 5 finale that left us hanging; so, lets break it down.
Like every other season finale, everything was over the top. The girls had an “end of summer bash” to celebrate the incredible year they spent together. Everyone showed up, even some past housewives (Jeana and Lauri). But, like every party the girls flock to, drama always ends up finding its way too.
The show started out with Tamara Barney and her husband, Simon, riding in a limo discussing their relationship. We all know Tamara and Simon filed for divorce, even if you hadn’t watched the finale, but we hadn’t seen the couple officially call it quits on-air. Their discussion about Vicki lead to an intense fight which ended in a “I want a divorce” from Tamara. Upon arriving at the party, Simon quickly grabbed Tamara and (in a roundabout way) tried to comfort her. The damage was already done.
Vicki Gunvalson [and family] showed up looking for no drama. Her husband wanted no part of it either and when he saw Vicki walking towards Simon he quickly grabbed her arm and pulled her away. Simon, of course, didn’t like that and proceeded to talk about her. One of Tamara’s friends tried to back up Vicki and told Simon that it was actually her husband who pushed her away, but he didn’t care.
Walking in with her incredibly hot son and daughter, Jeana Keough surprised everyone upon her arrival. It was kind of sad not seeing Jeana not returning to show but Alexis Bellin more than made up for her departure. Speaking of Alexis, there was not much happening with her on the season finale. Was she taking the high road or was she honestly just trying to have a good time? Either way, she was pleasant — for the most part. And lets be truthful, she looked hot.
Gretchen Rossi. Good ‘ol Gretchen Rossi. The name brings smiles every time. Her attire really did look like she was ready for a wedding, but lets face it, she looks good in anything. The bubbly blonde strutted her stuff with boyfriend Slade, who wasn’t making good impressions with the rest of the housewives. Gretchen didn’t care.
Then there was Lynne Curtain. Half-baked *cough* I mean, down-to-earth Lynn. She had no clue what was going on at the party. I know, I know, does she ever know whats going on around her? Probably not. The same could be said for last nights season finale. She showed up with her rumored soon-to-be-ex-husband and [drunk] daughters. Yeah, they were drunk and, yeah, there underage. I can’t complain, I mean, all of us did a little underage drinking, but I can’t stand Lynne’s daughters. They’re spoiled. They’re whiny. They’re annoying. F**cking get over the eviction. Getting evicted is not that bad. I’d like to see you two support yourselves and also try to support two teenagers. I was so happy to see that Lynne couldn’t afford to buy the one daughter a car. I laughed. Ride the bus, bitch.
The party went fairly well, save for Tamara’s dieing marriage. Speaking of her marriage, the entire finale was based around it. Which brings me to the most important part I saw. At one point Vicki was trying to comfort Tamara. She was telling her everything she needed to hear and Tamara was talking about how she hates the marriage. Her husband heard she was crying and rushed to find out what about. It was such an awkward moment when he walked up to the two and decided to call Tamara out for discussing their personal life. Tamara, go figure (I hope you can hear my sarcasm), flat out lied not only in front of Simon, but also in front of Vicki. She said that she just wanted the two to be friends. For a moment, I was so proud of Vicki. She quickly said “that’s not what this is about…” but Tamara wouldn’t budge. Anyway, their marriage is in the shits and we all saw it coming.
The Real Housewives of Orange County season finale didn’t disappoint this year. It was great, it was epic, and best of all it was full of hot middle-aged-women-drama. Bravo, you sure know how to pick’em.

The season finale of housewives of OC was good but I cant’ believe Lynne just sat there while her daughters where drunk off their ass! What mother would allow this kind of behavior!
Perhaps someone can answer this question: Does having Botox injected make a person’s eye muscle NOT to cry? There’s noise but NO tears regarding Tamara.
