Thanksgiving Fail: Epic Turkey Cake

Can you believe Thanksgiving has already come and gone? I sure can’t. So, obviously, Thanksgiving is all about family and food. The latter for the most part. It’s a time when amateur chefs test their newly found skills in cooking, frying, and sometimes, baking. So, how do you complement that gargantuan Thanksgiving dinner? With a delicious [and festive] cake, of course!

Now, depending on which side you root for, this turkey cake is either delicious looking or completely disgusting.

A Gay Birthday Cake? Yes, Please.

Although this cake wasn’t really made for the gays, it should have been. It’s fancy rainbow colors just screams “gay pride.” And, with the name Super Epic Rainbow Cake, who could resist? It look freakin’ delicious. Made from ordinary cake with some added food coloring, something so simple looks absolutely delectable. The original bakers gives a warning though, it required an overabundance of frosting. Wait, that’s a bad thing?

KFC’s Double Down Sandwhich Doubles Your Chance For Clogged Arteries

Really, KFC? Straight out of the fryer from America’s Unthinkable company rises one of the most artery-clogging sandwiches of all time: the Double Down Chicken Sandwich. Instead of some [relatively] healthy pieces of wheat bread — or any kind of bread for that matter — KFC replaced it with two fried pieces of chicken. And, if that wasn’t fattening enough, they threw in even more fried-goodness with some bacon and two slices of cheese. Gulp. No wonder the United States is the most obese country in the world.

It just seems like yesterday when we first discovered what happens when you drop a Mentos in Diet Coke. Now that the world knows how and why this works, we can now use this against unsuspecting victims? Why this prank is so fantastic is because you’re always getting someone who thinks their fat. Diet Coke is bad for you, regardless of the word “Diet” in the name. So, what better way to get them fatties than with a Mentos and Diet Coke prank? R.I.P. – Taco Bell ‘Border Bowls’ No Longer On The Menu

Today, while getting my “fourth meal ” on (ok, ok — it was really lunch), a note was in my bag stating some new changes to the Taco Bell menu. First on the list was “Fista Taco Salads: We’ve added Rice!” Eh, who cares. I don’t eat salads. Secondly, there was, “Chicken Fiesta Taco Salads are changing to Fully Loaded Taco Salads!” Yet another meh… And, sadly, “Border Bowls: Will no longer be on the menu.” What? Oh-nos!! <insert dramatic music>

Hammy The Hampster Helps Us With Food

I love things going head-to-head in “versus.” So, when I saw this video of Hammy the Hamster and his taste for food, it got me wondering, which is better: organic or conventional. Needless to say, the results are interesting.
