Guitar Hero + Soccer = ‘Kasabian Football Hero’

Guitar Hero and Rock Band are so popular that they have numerous spin-offs. Case in point: the Kasabian Football Hero video. If you thought playing these games with your fingers was hard, try taking a spin with soccer balls. According to the video, the boys didn’t start nailing it until the 17th or so trial. Snowboarder Gets Carried Away… By A Gust Of Wind On A Kite

Want to see something that will truly shrink your testicles in, like, 10 seconds? Watch the video below. Taped in Algeria, this man was leisurely enjoying a nice cold day out on the slopes. It’s when mother nature decided to take him on her own journey is when things got a little hairy. A gust of wind swoops up the man and his snowboard then carries him away on the kite. I didn’t think it was much until the cameraman zoomed out and nothing but blue skies where the backdrop to the dangling snowboarder. Luckily the man survived and apparently his friend was really excited. As a Boing Boing commenter pointed out, he sounds like a Muppet.

What Do Paintballs And Marilyn Monroe Have In Common? Answer: Awesomeness

Do you like Marilyn Monroe pop art? How about pop art in general? Well, this may be right up your alley. A group of guys did something that’s totally worthy of display in an art gallery. The most interesting part is it was made with paintballs. It took a three-tiered stand, 23 guys, and one minute to shot paint Marilyn Monroe with paintballs. The end result is pretty damn good.

Plaxico Burress Sentenced To Prison For Shooting Himself

The world of sports has to be going ape-shit over Plaxico Burress being sentenced to prison for shooting himself. Yeah, I know! He shot himself, not someone else. ESPN states:

One-time Super Bowl hero Plaxico Burress was sentenced to two years in prison Tuesday for violating New York’s stringent gun laws and was immediately taken into custody following his hearing.

The football star apparently brought a gun to a Manhattan club late last fall. He didn’t pull it out to show anyone, but the pistol did fall out of his pocket and when Burress went to grab it he accidentally shot himself in the thigh. Ouch.

Having a firearm in New York is a huge no-no. And, Plaxico Burress could have got off with a lesser sentence had he agreed to plead guilty earlier.  Unfortunately for him, he acted on his instinct and tried to testify in court to prove that the gun was not going to be used for a crime. The jury [obviously] found him guilty.

Juan Manuel Marquez Drinks His Own Pee — Yes, Pee!

Holy crap does this rank high on the “WTF Scale.” In an HBO special documentary dubbed 24/7, Juan Manuel Marquez is followed by a crew of camera men who find out he drinks his own pee. Yes folks, drinks his own f***ing pee. He claims that it’s good for you and that he’s been doing it before various fights. He also says it containing vitamins and proteins which he thinks he should drink “instead of wasting them.” Yuck.

Here’s a shocker: Serena Williams meltdown at the US Open. Yeah, after being called out for a foot fault in her Semi-Final match against Kim Cjisters, Serena ripped the lineswoman a new one (video after the break). In her angry and sweaty rage, Serena was heard saying:

Mr. Presidents Got Game, Obama Plays Basketball

Checking out the ol’ YouTubes, I stumbled upon the White House Channel where I watched Barack Obama playing basketball. Ok, I didn’t necessarily “stumble” upon the channel as it was plastered all over YouTube. Nonetheless, I found this video of Obama playing basketball with the Lady Huskies; and, let me tell you, Obama was kicking their ass at what looked like a game of “H.O.R.S.E.”

What a better way to spend the day instead of looking out over the American economy, right? Just kidding. I know Obama works his ass of in the White House. I’d totally challenge Obama to a round of H.O.R.S.E., even though I’m sure I’d lose. But, hey, who gives a fuck!
