StarCraft 2: Ghost of the Past Trailer Is EPIC

It’s not every day a video game comes out with cinematic-quality goodness. Blizzard, well known for this in most of its games, has released yet another trailer for it’s upcoming StarCraft 2: Wings of Liberty. Unlike most trailers, however; this one is so epic that I felt as if I was watching an actual movie trailer. There’s loss, denial, explosions, and glowing-eye devil girls with skinless wings. What more could a gamer ask for? More action than the movie 300? You bet.

Rockstar, creators of the infamous GTA series, unleashed a 3-minute video containing everything you need to know about Red Dead Redemption. It’s Rockstar’s take on a GTA-style wild west theme. Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing Commercial Is Just… Dumb

Forget the fact that this racing game might actually hold you over until the next Mario Kart comes out. Forget the fact that the levels look more interesting than what we’ve seen in other Wii racing games. Forget the fact that you’re about to watch the worst acting ever. Prepared? I sure hope so.

This is SEGA’s latest commercial for Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing. Instead of being narrated by a deep-voiced-movie-like-older-man, SEGA instead opted for Alex and Jen, two of the most odd gamers we’ve ever seen. Sure, the game play looks semi-interesting but it’s their horrible (and sometimes creepy) acting that makes this commercial a huge fail.

“Bring. It. On.” … “Super horn!” … “You can ride Bananas!” … “Amigo’s crazy sunbuggie!!!” … Where’s my gun?

Review: Darksiders (Xbox 360)

It’s been a long time since I’ve went on an “adventure” in the gaming world. Sure, I’ve played numerous first-person shooters like Modern Warfare 2 and The Conduit, but I rarely take on third-person action/adventure games. There was, however, something about Darksiders that intrigued me from the get-go.

Maybe it was the epic storyline of a Horseman, deceived into starting the Apocalypse, only to bring vengeance to the ones who started it. Maybe it was Vigil’s first “Balance” trailer that had me craving more. Maybe I’m just wanting to get back into the genera since playing Zelda: Twilight Princess. Either way, I’m glad I forked out the money to purchase the game. Read more

Xbox 360 Christmas Gift Reaction

It’s the day after Christmas. All the presents have been opened, your family is getting ready to go home, life couldn’t be better. It’s now time to remember everything you got from Santa and time to start playing with them. I’m sure they’ll be more crazy Christmas videos out there, but this one I couldn’t pass up. I’m just surprised the dog in the video didn’t bite this kids head off.

A Bulldog Plays Tony Hawk ‘Ride’ Better Than You

I desperately want to believe this video of a bulldog playing Tony Hawk’s ‘Ride’ is real, but I can’t fathom it. I’m going to call shenanigans! You see, I was totally buying the whole “bulldog doing a cool trick thing” until the finale where the bulldog does a 360 on the skateboard. Regardless, it’s still a lot of fun and with enough practice I’m sure he could do it.

DealBot: Grab A Wii For $99 This Weekend

Nintendo may have recently dropped the price $50, but Toys-R-Us is taking it one step further. In an ad posted on CrunchGear, everyone’s favorite toy store is holding a deal for anyone looking to finally grab the Wii (is there anyone out there that doesn’t have one of these?). Regardless, you can pick up the Wii for $99. Here’s the catch, though: you also have to purchase a couple other things which make the grand total around $250. But, come on, everyone bought their Wii’s at $249.99 — so quit complaining!

The bundle includes a 20-pack of AA batteries, an Ultimate Gaming Ottoman, a copy of Mario & Sonic at the Olympics game, and any four Gear Monkey video game accessories. I highly recommend picking this up if you’ve yet to place your hands on Nintendo’s cash cow. The ad is running from November 13th through the 15th so expect this to run out quick-like.

Guitar Hero + Soccer = ‘Kasabian Football Hero’

Guitar Hero and Rock Band are so popular that they have numerous spin-offs. Case in point: the Kasabian Football Hero video. If you thought playing these games with your fingers was hard, try taking a spin with soccer balls. According to the video, the boys didn’t start nailing it until the 17th or so trial. Either way, it’s amazing that at the end of the round they got a 76% accuracy. Not to shabby, if you ask me. Now, where’s us some Golfing Hero? Video after the break. Read more

Playstation 3 Gets Bundled With Uncharted 2, Hits Spain

The critically acclaimed game from Naughty Dog is doing so well that Sony’s ready to capitalize on it’s success. An Engadget reader has spotted the Playstation 3 bundled with Uncharted 2. The only problem I can see it’s that it’s [currently] only in Spain. I’m positive, much like the rest of the world, that said bundle will arrive state-side soon, it’s just only a matter of time. Now, if only I could save up enough money for it. Or, maybe I can just buy the game and head over to my friends house. Yeah — that sounds like a good idea.

Serious Sam HD Wants Sunshine And Lollipops, Gets It

The Serious Sam HD “Sunshine & Lollipops” video is hilarious. With a game based on shooting monsters, who would have though sunshine and lollipops would have blended so smoothly? Not me. I started laughing though when Sam shot one of the the four-legged enemies with the SBC Cannon and candy canes, flowers and stars began pouring out. If you ever were a fan of the previous games, you’ll get a total kick out of this video.
