The Movie ’9′ Gets It’s Official Poster
Remember the movie 9 produced by Tim Burton? Yeah, the one based on the awesome animated short by Shane Acker? Well, it’s finally got an official poster! Yeah, feel free to download it and make it your wallpaper, or simply email it to a friend and say “Hey, number 9 ftw kthx.”
The story: When 9 (The Lord of the Ring’s Elijah Wood) first comes to life, he finds himself all alone in a post-apocalyptic world. He has no clue how he got here. All the humans are gone, but, he finds a small community of others just like him taking refuge from down-right scary machines that apparently have taken over the world since the humans extinction. I don’t want to give the entire story away so you definitely need to check out the movie. I will tell you one thing, the future of civilization may depend on them.
9 is scheduled to rock a theatre near you this coming September — 9th to be exact. How quaint. The cast will feature A+ celebrities like Elijah Wood, Jennifer Connelly, Martin Landau, Christopher Plummer, John C. Reilly and Crispin Glover. Oh, and did I mention it’s produced by Tim-freaking-Burton? Come on! It’s a no-brainer!
Official ’9′ Final Trailer Released
The official “9″ final trailer has been released, so give it a watch. In the trailer we finally get to see how these puppet-things get animated. I figured it was magic or some random shit like that, but it just isn’t so. We’ve got scientist to thank for that, whoopie! The movie looks very dark, which is something I don’t vibe with, but it also has a lot of action. What’s even more encouraging is the amount of A+ voice acting in the movie. Animated Short ’9′ Gets Feature-Length Movie
I’ve never seen the animated short, “9.” Tim Burton, however, has and is currently making it a feature-length movie. I’m not quite sold on the story, considering it’s about a post-apocalyptic beanie babies. But, as I’m sure we’re all aware, Tim Burton has a way with making us fall in love with his characters. Anyway, on to the movie, “9.” The movie features the voice talent of some A+ stars. It includes the ranks of Elija Wood, John Reilly, Jennifer Connelly and Christopher Plummer. The first part of the video features a sequence from the movie. That’s not all, so stay tuned after the second commercial for the actual trailer. It gives more insight into the world of “9.”
Is it me or are you officially afraid of sewing kits? I know! Me too. The story seems intriguing enough to get me to see it. I don’t know — I may have to wait until my Goddess of movie knowledge, Laura, and her infinite wisdom in theatre checks it out.
