Ryan Seacrest Is Americas Highest-Paid Reality TV Host

According to Radar Online, Ryan Seacrest is now the highest-paid reality TV host. Before, Seacrest was making roughly $5 million per season. But thanks to some love from CKX, the company who actually creates and owns the rights to American Idol, he now makes a whopping $15 million. That’s some serious mulah, folks. According to the celebrity news site, he just signed a contract for $45 million to host the next three seasons of Idol.

This, along with his radio and other tv gigs he has, earns him an estimated $50 million a year. Wowza!

Clay Aiken Trashes American Idol, Adam Lambert

Everyone in the world was watching the American Idol season finale. That was everyone except, uh, Clay Aiken. Allegedly, Clay Aiken trash-talked American Idol and even it’s runner up , Adam Lambert. Although Clay’s website is paid access only, Gawker was able to grab his blog post from their inside sources and post it on their own website for the world to see. Now that it’s all over, and for the record…. I couldn’t be happier about the way AI ended this year. I only turn the show on once a season, and only to see what the set looks like each year. A Look Back: American Idol Season 8 Finale

We all know that Adam Lambert didn’t win on the American Idol Season 8 Finale. It was his complete opposite, and competition, Kris Allen. We all remember how that went down, so lets review the other happenings on the cash-cow that is American Idol.

Lets go over the things you should remember (or,  at least know so you don’t sound like a complete loser at work): Kara Dioguardi upstaged the “Bikini Girl,” Adam Lamber sang with KISS, Ford Fusion was everywhere (literally), Kris Allen didn’t even flinch when he was named the 8th American Idol, and last, but not least, Simon’s ex-girlfriend got beat-the-fuck-up after the show. The Best American Idol Audition Ever. EVAR.

Oh, Kevin. How you make me laugh. If this was video was real, this would have been the best American Idol audition ever. Hands down. Whoever did the editing on this video deserves a round of applause. My favorite part is when Kevin says “Thank you” to Paula Abdul and continues on to say that his grandfather used to love her. It immediately goes right back to Paula’s face and she’s like “WTF.” WIN.

American Idol Judge Gets Pwned By Bikini Girl Katrina Darrell

No doubt one of everyone’s favorite parts of American Idol are the auditions. This season is no different. Yesterday, bikini wearing Kartrina Darrell showed up to sing her rendition of Mariah Carey’s “Vision of Love.”

I thought it was decent, so did the guys.

But, one of the other judges, Kara DioGuardi, thought it wasn’t so good. DioGuardi then tried to show the hot brunet how she thought it should have been sung. Oh, she also threw out some of those condescending “sweetys.” Don’t you just hate those people? Me too.

Katrina apparently didn’t like Kara’s version of the song and told her that hers wasn’t better. PWNED.
