Taylor Swift Takes A Dig At Kanye West on CMA Awards

Taylor Swift was on the CMA Awards tonight on ABC and while taking an award for Best Female Vocalist, she gladly excepted it without anyone coming on stage to steal her spotlight. While thanking everyone for playing her music she took a quick dig at Kanye West by saying:

“And I want to thank every single person in this room tonight for not running up on the stage during this speech.”

Of course, everyone remembers when Kanye West stole the spotlight from Taylor at the MTV VMA Awards. It was great to see her smile and take the award without any issues. Taylor Swift has an amazing voice and her performance earlier in the CMA Awards was well done.

Taylor Swift Talks About Kanye West On ‘The View’

After having your mic stolen by Kanye West, you’d think Taylor Swift would be a little ticked at the slightest though of the outspoken rapper. But, it just isn’t so. Taylor Swift was on The View today discussing the incident with the good ol’ ladies and she was very professional about the whole situation. She recalls her though process while accepting the nomination for Best Female Video and it was something like this:

Wow, I can’t  believe I just won. Don’t trip and fall. I’m going to thank the fans — this is so cool. Oh, Kanye West is here. Cool hair cut. What are you doing here? Ouch. I guess I’m not going to get to thank the fans.

As the ladies on The View pointed out, Kanye West told Jay Leno earlier that he was very sorry and wanted to apologize to her in person. But, as the beautiful young country singer said, he hasn’t contacted her — at all. And, as she said, about five minutes after Kanye pulled his stunt, she had to perform her award-winning song, You Belong With Me.

UPDATED: Kanye West Steals Taylor Swift’s Spotlight On MTV Video Music Awards

On tonight’s MTV Video Music Awards (VMA), Taylor Swift received the first award of the night for The Best Female Video Award. Unbenounced to her, Kanye West didn’t think she deserved the award. He actually got on the MTV VMA stage and took the microphone from Taylor Swift and proclaimed:

Yo, Taylor. I’m really happy for you — I’ll let you finish. But, Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time. One of the best videos of all time.

The crowd boo’ed Kanye off the stage as a confused Taylor stood on stage. The crowed was completely shocked in regards to Kanyes bold statement and I for one agree. I feel horrible for Taylor Swift.

UPDATE: While Kanye West originally came out to hail Beyonce for her video “Single Ladies,” Beyonce did end up winning the “Best Video” award. But, instead of taking her moment to thank everyone, she decided to give the moment up for Taylor Swift. What Beyonce did was absolutely amazing and I respect her even more. She said on stage that she was first nominated when she was seventeen when previously with Destiny’s Child. She said she was so excited just to be nominated and Taylor Swift needs her moment. A huge round of applause was given to Beyonce and Taylor Swift. The night couldn’t have ended any better.

Kevin Pereira Playing “Amazing”

I love finding out celebrities actually have hobbies like normal people. You know, like they have something else to do besides laying out in their multi-million dollar pads like we imagine. So brings me to todays video of Kevin Pereira playing Kanye West’s “Amazing.” After taking a trip to Kevin’s blog, I found out he plays the drums — something I never new. He’s not too shabby, if you ask me. In fact, I dare call it “amazing.”

The Voice Of This Generation Is Also The Worst Dressed

You’ve gotta love the most conceited rapper of all time: Kanye West. What makes me cringe is that this dude attributes all his fancy-shmancy “cool looks” to gay men. Yeah, he says he gets all his fashion tips from us homos. I guess he’s been hanging out with some straight men lately because he looks god-awful in these pictures.

To make matters even worse, Kanye invited some robot-looking woman out with him. When I heard the story, I figured she’d one-up him with some nice evening gown. Apparently she didn’t get the memo that the 80′s want their clothes back. Good Lord.
