Were you one of the people who purchased a MacBook Pro and started hearing clicking and beeping noises? *Cough* Sucks to be you. *Cough*. I mean — look! Apple heard your cries and has recently sent out an firmware update to fix that pesky annoying noise. You can download the update here, or just wait for the automatic update to kick in. Either way Apple promised a fix, and, well, there it is. Go them.

MacBook Pro Users: Why Is My MacBook Making Clicking/Beeping Noises?

I may be a little biased, possibly due to my love/hate relationship with Apple, but making the switch from Microsoft to Apple just doesn’t seem right — yet. Lately, an irate number of MacBook Pro users have been diligently complaining on the Apple Forums that their Macbook Pro is making clicking or beeping noises (which is now fixed). This is just one more issue facing the expensive line of Apple laptops. Read more
