With over 35 million views, Jill & Kevin’s Wedding has been one of the ultimate wedding viral videos. That is, until this story came to light. It seems as though the newly weds were part of a marketing campaign to spruce up Chris Brown‘s image. No doubt, the wedding did happen and the people in the video really did dance to music down the isle; but, before the video was posted on YouTube, Sony had a great idea. Read more

Sony Ericsson Racheal UI ScreenshotToday, it’s less about the hardware and more about the software. Which brings me to the subject of this post: Sony Ericsson unveiled it’s new Rachael user interface (UI) today. They say it was a leak, but I just don’t believe it. I will say, however, with the number of Android phones coming out, I’ve  yet to see a really compelling use of the operating system. But today, that changes.

Sony Ericsson has been keeping this phone under wraps and it was just recently revealed via a leak from internal documents. And even though the company’s lips have been sealed, we do know that it will sport a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, an 8-megapixel camera, will be completely touchscreen and, of course,  uses the Android operating system. But that’s not where Rachel shines.

What’s got me drooling is the portion which shows the messaging interface that incorporates all the messages with  beautiful eyecandy. Head past the break for the full video. Read more

E3 is full of surprises. And, apparently, so is Sony. During their conference this morning, Sony announced their new Playstation 3 motion controller, the “Playstation Eye.” Now, judging by the video below, I have no clue what the PS3 designers where thinking while coming up with a design that resembles Rudolph’s nose on a stick. And, really, did they have to go straight to copying Nintendo?

While I think it’s great for companies to innovate, this really isn’t innovation. It’s straight copying the Wii Motion Plus. On the other hand, a Wii with PS3 graphics is complete WIN.
